Yohei Suda is a registered lawyer in Japan and America (Washington State). He graduated with a degree in law from the University of Tokyo as well as Washington University School of Law and the University of Nantes. He served as a law clerk at the Washington Supreme Court and as an intern at the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia in Holland. He works in English and French, and also lectures and writes frequently about international human rights, environmental issues, and karoshi (death by overwork). In recent years, he has dealt with cases involving human rights and the arts, spurring his interest in issues surrounding public arts.
